It's been awhile

Hi. It's been awhile since I've been on the site, but I just wanted to say hi and give a little update. My fiance & I got in a wreck on our 06 gsxr1000, a month ago. He was in ICU for 3 days, in the hosp. for a total of 5 days, he had internal bleeding and dislocated collar bone. Luckily, i just came out of with alot of soreness. My fiance was able to (fortunately) think at the last second before we hit the brick wall, to grab the fron brake, and endoed the bike, that sent me flying over the top of him, and he hit the wall with the bike. What happened was, we were going around the LSU lakes, and the bike tire hit a tar strip, while we were leaned over, long story short, the rear brake pedal hit the ground, made the rear tire come off the ground, & when it touched ground again, it stood the bike straight, and jerked it over, to head straight for a 3 ft brick wall. It sucked, but were going to fix the bike, and sell it. we'll get back on & ride, while its for sale, but we have too much going for us, and that was too much of a close call.
